Added by: Lea Ann Stundins
Use up all your old broken crayons and create a kid-friendly, safe-to-make version of the ancient art of Cloisonne. Cloisonne is an art form from ancient times, used for decorating metal pieces. It divides the colors which are usually made of enamel and separates them usually with wire or thin strips of metal. The name comes from "cloisons" which is "compartments" in French. It was very popular in Western History in the Byzantine Empire from the 10th to the 12th century. In Eastern History, it was produced most often in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
