Even though summer is almost over, I’m guessing there’s still stuff that needs to be done around the house. Getting and keeping your home in good working order can seem like an overwhelming task  {something always seems to need fixing}, but with this organization and home repair checklist you can tackle it without stress {giggle}.  Print the free download by clicking the link under the image below.

There’s nothing I’d rather do in August than soak up the last lazy days of summer, which makes the thought of cleaning low on my want-to-do-list. So, I made the August organization and home repair checklist is easy on the “to-do’s”.  Take the time to relax before it’s back to the grind!  I’ve included very few tasks this month because I figure if I’m unmotivated to clean, you probably are too!

Tip Junkie is here to help you stay on top of your game as summer turns into fall with great resources and a free home checklist. Take a day and really plan and organize your schedule so you can clean and organize every room inside your home, as well as the outside of your home.

4. Sale Items:

This month is a great time to buy items that go on sale in August summer apparel and back-to-school supplies. Now this the time to get them at discounted prices.

  • Summer apparel ~ Summer apparel typically goes on sale in August so now is the time to pick up those summer items you’ve had your eye on. If you live in a state like Texas where the heat is letting up anytime soon, you’ll really score!
  • Laptops ~ Laptops drop in price in August and September by about 10-20%! So, if your student is in need of a new laptop, be sure to get it now.
  • Back-to-School Supplies ~ Office and school supplies get major price reductions this month so it’s super smart to stock up!
  • Patio furniture goes on sale in August so if you need a new set, it might be prudent to buy one at a discounted price for next spring and summer!
  • Who would guess that August would be a great time to buy a new mattress? Last year mattresses went on sale up to 50% off though, so August is a great time to look for mattress sales!
