I just adore headbands!  So today I’m featuring several tutorials on how to make headbands as well as headband hairstyles and darling girl hair do ideas.  I hope they inspire you to make something pretty for yourself this weekend.

1.  Petals and Pearls Headband – Leather and pearls give this headband the perfect blend of soft and strong.   You would never guess that I made it from an old leather purse!

7.  Houndstooth Hair Bow Tutorial -You can also glue the bows onto headbands or bobby pins.  And, of course, you can use any color of felt for this project!
8.  Organza Fabric Flowers -Today’s flowers are made from layers of organza, tulle, and satin and a few pearly beads. These are perfect for a hair clip or a pretty pin for your jacket or purse. Very classy.
9.  Anthropology Inspired Leather Laurel Headband – Create this fun and easy leather flower headband and save some serious cash.

11.  How to make rolled fabric flowers – I chose an array of felt and coordinating fabrics (I just bought some fat quarters).  I think these would be really cool with contrasting fabrics too, but for now I decided to coordinate.

14.  How to Tie a Yarn Messy Bun {Hair Inspiration} – Today’s tip it all about using yarn (it works with thin pieces of lace too!) to create a pretty messy hairstyle. Just tie the yarn around your head like a headband, then weave long piece into a ponytail.

16.  Free Pattern on how to make a Braided Ribbon Flower – I love to use flowers as embellishments.  There are so many great ways to make flowers out there, and this is a really easy way to twist a fabric flower into a fun flower headband.

18.  Tulle Ponytail holder – So the other day it came to me that they would make cute pony tail holders. Simple directions below to make this hair accessory.
19.  Crochet Pattern: Pretty Pretty Bow – This bow is super simple, super cute and super versatile. Sew it onto a blanket, a beanie, a purse or a headband for an extra bit of girly or add it to a hair clip for an adorable hair accessory.
20.  Spring Lace Girl Hair Do Headband – I started by cutting my lace fabric into a six inch circle.  You finished flower will be half the size that you start with, so my finished flower is three inches in diameter.
21.  Initial Hair Clip Tutorial – Fast and easy craft that can be done with or with out a machine. Great way to use up your scraps!

  2. Hey! This are very pretty headbands. They are looking so attractive and beautiful. All of them are very nice and looks gorgeous. And you have given the procedure of making headbands it’s very great. All hair bows and headbands are designed very well. Used material for headbands is much attractive. Therefore all headbands are nice. That first one petals and pearls headband is very attractive.

  3. my mom and i are looking for udresses, plain hairbands of various sizes so that we can decorate them..we don’t seem to b e able to find them on line can someone help…
