Lamination method comprises of kneading and folding the dough and later rolling it to make it into a thick mixture. This mixture is then cut with the help of slitters.
Italian pasta includes a huge variety of ingredients, such as fresh tomatoes, basil, shrimps, artichoke, beef, eggplant, cheese, leeks, and lot more.
As well as Italian pastas, there are also American pastas. Thomas Jefferson, the US ambassador to France bought macaroni to America in 1789. He bought with him a macaroni machine to the United States and is the first recorded instance of macaroni and pasta in the US.
Whereas Italian pastas are made out of durum wheat and semolina and have yellow color and a chewy texture, American pastas are made from Farina and semolina. The taste and texture of American pasta is inferior to authentic Italian pasta that is why it used largely in making casseroles.
