I would make my Mum a beautiful shrug so she can keep the cool off her shoulders while watching TV. And I would also make a scarf for my sister Sylvia.
They both live in Carson City, NV and I live in Saint Joseph, MO. I have not seen them since June 2004. I miss my family very much.

After being diagnosed with terminal cancer I decided to make handmade items to give to family members so they would have something pretty to remember me by. Don’t mean that to sound haughty or anything, just something that would make them smile when they put it on. I’d use the shimmery yarn to make fingerless mittens for two special nieces who live far away.
If I am the lucky winner, I’ll be making more hats. I use “Shimmer” and eyelash yarn together.
I would love to use the Shimmer yarn to make scarves for my coworkers. It is so beautiful and I love working with Red Heart yarns!
