Every day I try (really hard) to be healthier than the day before. There are many ideas I have implemented over the years. Some have stuck, some have gone bye-bye. One that has endured is drinking a cup of hot lemon water in the morning (in fact I drink it a couple times a day). I came up with this idea, because, well, I am not a morning person, so anything, and I mean anything I can do to make my mornings easier is a game changer!
There are many healthy benefits of drinking hot lemon water. I am not a doctor or health practitioner, but I do drink lemon water every day and it makes me feel good.
Step 1Roll each lemon on your counter (This releases the juices - I read that somewhere!). Slice the lemons in half and juice them. I used about 10 lemons and made 2 cups of juice (16 ounces).
Step 2Now, when you are ready for some hot lemon water, just boil your water, pour into your mug, and add a couple of lemon juice ice cubes. Its easy and so good for you!
Step 3Place about 1 Tablespoon or juice into each cube on the ice cube tray and freeze for 4 hours or longer)
