How to make these large paper lego brick for my son’s Lego Movie decorations are so easy! I made them to fit perfectly to my mantel which made all of my party pictures so festive.
I loved this primary colors paper garland I saw over on the Homemade Serenity Blog and had to re-create the look for Drake’s eighth Lego Move party.
Step 1How to Make Large Lego Bricks. Print out the Lego brick bumps using this free printable from My Creative Place blog.
Step 2Yellow Lego Brick. I cut out the printed Lego bumps and placed them onto the yellow posterboard to determine the size. Ending up with 7 bumps tall and 4 blocks wide, I cut the yellow posterboard accordingly. It basically ended up being 1 1/2 times taller than it's original size. Lastly, use raised pop-dots to attach to the posterboard.
Step 3Blue and Red Lego Bricks. For the two smaller Lego bricks I made them the same size, 2 Lego bumps wide and 5 bumps tall. To decorate I placed the blue brick vertical and red brick horizontal.
