I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Looks like I’m not the only one with Patience as my word for the year. 🙂
My word is “Peace”. I want to find peace in all that I have done to prepare so that I won’t feel so worried or nervous all the time.
My word for 2010 is intentional.
My word this year is PEACE. Peace of mind, at peace with myself and life, peace in our home….
My words are Simplify and Patience. I can’t decide between the two and I know Simplify I should have just one word not two. But I also know I need to work on my patience with my baby girl, hubby and my family.
