I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Ahh….nurture, not nuture. Opps!
My word is: Nuture.
My word of the year is WORSHIP. I blogged about it here:

Thanks for the giveaway, Laurie!
my word is SIMPLIFY!!
My word is ENCOURAGE. I want to focus less on myself and my needs, and spend more time lifting others up, and reminding them that God created them for a purpose. I want help people become aware of their God-given gifts, and remind them of how they are loved.
