I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My word of the year is SIMPLIFY
My word of the year is discipline. I want to have the discipline to get up early, study my Bible, and keep up with daily tasks, instead of being dragged into the depths of procrastination!

Just weeks after I deliver our fourth baby, my husband will leave for his third 12 month deployment to Afghanistan. I know this year will be challenging and so I am vowing to step back from the craziness of the day to day and nourish my relationship with my children and my husband from afar.
