I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Thanks for making this awsome challenge it really made me think..
My choice of word is GRATEFUL, because Id like to focus on whats most important to me. How incredibly lucky I am to have two mircle DDs and the best DH. And on the other side focus less on the hard dayes with lot of pain and challenges at work.
OPTIMISTIC. I feel that we all need to stay optimistic in these tough times. I found out that I was getting laid off just 2 weeks after I bought a brand new home and about 2 months before my wedding. It’s important to look for the silver lining or you’ll just drive yourself crazy.
healthy: physical health, spiritual health, emotional health. All things I need to continually work on to become healthy.
Serenity
I sound like a “Seinfeld” episode, but keeping calm and carrying on is what we need here, now! Always sooo busy the days fly by….
