I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
ACTION
I’m still struggling to find the perfect word, but it is along the lines of: Intentional, Strive, Cherish – basically, I don’t want the day to pass by me without having accomplished anything in my home, family, kids’ lives, etc. I want to pour out into people’s lives and also take the time to sit back and cherish what I have right now. So hard to describe.
My word for 2010 is REMEMBER. I think its the most important word ever. If I can just always remember who I am, the truths I know, and the path I want to take, I will have a great life!
