I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Courage I’m a 13 year old girl with a disease called Eosinophilic Esophigitis or E.E for short. I’m allergic to all foods and am on a feeding tube now. I have had lots of surgery’s and procedures. I am so scared now of germs or anything because i don’t want them to make me sick and make me have to get another procedure. So this year im going to try to have courage and not be so scared.
BALANCE – I tend to my put all my focus so much in one area that I neglect everything else, leaving me to despise what I’ve put so much time into, and neglecting the people and things that deserve the best part of myself and my time.
My word of the year is FATE!
Faith. I have a son in Afghanistan and I have to believe that he is going to be safe.
Audacious: yes this is the word that I am going to choose. I would like to be more BOLD this year. No more hiding and no more being fearful of what others think. I am ready to get out there and show people who I really am. OH YEAH!
