I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
fun!
sometimes i think i over schedule so this year I am going to have more fun time with my kids, friends and hubby!
My word is Genshai (GEN-shy) which is a Hindi word that means you should never treat another person in a manner that would make them feel small and that includes yourself.
I wasn’t going to do this “word” thing. Didn’t think it was for me. But it keeps popping up and I keep thinking about it. I was journaling the other night and my word came to me. Renew. So many areas of my life that need renewal….
My word is … ME!
I am going to give myself a little more attention!
My 2010 word is RENEW
