Bicycling is an excellent outdoor exercise! We’ve already discussed how to exercise in an 8-part series which also included at home work outs. Next up, is a quick glance on the importance of exercise and some uber fun accessories from a bicycle store.
Importance Of Exercise
We kicked off summer here on Tip Junkie with numerous posts designed to help us get and stay healthy. Â I learned so many new techniques and came away with exceptional ideas for workouts and healthy eating and living. Â One of the greatest things about the series is that it showed that we can make little changes that make a BIG difference, AND that some of the best workouts are performed outside or at home and can be done without a gym pass.
One of my favorite posts of the series was:
I’m always trying to find fun ways to get my children up and moving without them realizing that the whole purpose of the activity is to well, Â get them moving. Â My favorite way to get moving and keep moving with my kids is by going on bike rides. Â I LOVE going exploring on a bicycle with my kids, and best of all, they adore it too.
Bicycle Store
Of course, going biking with or without children requires a bicycle and accessories, and Public Bikes, is a great place to get started. Public Bikes both designs and sells urban bikes, along with accessories (like helmets, bells, lights, locks, racks and bags) to make riding more enjoyable, practical, and chic if you tend toward vanity as I do.
Public Bikes is giving away a PUBLIC Farmers Market Twin Pannier
in the Tip Junkie Community next week, so be sure to check in there to enter to win! Â Additionally, they are celebrating their anniversary with an fantastic photo contest on their site. Â You could win an hotel stay at a chic hotel!
Here are the links to the Fitness Series published here on Tip Junkie. Â They’ve helped me get up and get active. Â What about you?

Bicycling is very safe when making use of the well-established bike trails, which are found everywhere. But my boys are still too small to join me on a bicycle tour. 🙁
I agreed with you. Bicycling is very safe when making use of the well-established bike trails, which are found everywhere. The trails made from old railroad beds are especially well managed and maintained.
