Here’s a beautiful poem about Father’s.  You can use it in so many ways.

Daddy’s Footsteps

“Walk a little slower, Daddy”,
Said a little child so small.
:I’m following in your footsteps,
And I don’t want to fall.

Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they’re hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.

Someday when I’m all grown up,
You’re what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who’ll want to follow me.

And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you.”

How to Make the Card:

1.  Print page 1 on cardstock.
2.  Flip over and print page two.
3.  Fold in half.
4.  Add child’s footprint and Name.

Suggestions for Poem:

1.  Use in a card, like the file below.  Be sure to paint the child’s foot and place it on the inside left page.
2. On a mat and frame it.
3.  Below a picture.
