16 Family Gathering July 4th Decorating Tutorials

Hosting a family gathering for a July 4th barbecue is an American tradition that I look forward to every year.  So here are several red white and blue tutorials on how to decorate for a patriotic family gathering.  Including how to decorate your porch, front door, mantel, bikes, parades, and floats.

1.  Celebrating the Fourth of July on a Budget ~ Are you wanting to celebrate 4th of July in style, but on a small budget? I was excited to challenge myself and figure out how to style something that would “WOW” your guests regardless of how much you spent on the party. I think you’ll love these ideas!

10. Repurposed Can Luminaries ~ Let the kids involved making these fun luminaries from repurposed cans for your patriotic party.  Let them paint the empty cans and mark off the design and then you can help them punch out their designs and light the luminaries.

11.  Decorate Your Bike Station ~ If you’re hosting a family gathering for the 4th of July, consider having a decorate your bike station with all kinds of crepe paper, and red white and blue decorations for the kids to pop onto to their bikes.

13.  Decorate a Bike Basket ~ For the  bike basket, attach some simple decorations and these festive flowers.

14. 4th of July Neighborhood Bike Parade ~  Have each person decorate their bike in Red, White, and Blue and have everyone watching wave flags or twirl patriotic pinwheels.
