Wuz Up Ladies! I am looking for several catchy, upbeat, yet informative how-to articles for beginners on your current hobby or passion for my Talk To Me Tuesday posts. I did an interview a while ago Digital Scrapbooking with Ashley and that’s the kind of thing I’m looking for.
Unfortunately, I’m completely swamped and can’t interview you. It can be on any subject but please keep it shorter than mine {{oops}} and family friendly. You also need to be some-what experienced on the subject.
Personally, I’m really interested in a how-to from a photographer who can submit different family Christmas picture poses and color wardrobe options that work well. I’m also interested in an article from a paperscrapper and seeing some unique & over the top Christmas card ideas.
Please note that all submissions won’t be accepted and this offer applies to women bloggers only. I can’t wait to learn about your passions and hobbies!! {{giddy}}
P.S. Don’t forget to buy from women this holiday season during our Mom-prenuer Shop-a-thon! Let’s support each other.
hi I would be interested in making a changing picture card ( volvelle ) could you please help me out with some information on them
OK, I will share my very favorite Christmas card with you. It was from my son’s girlfriend and her family. It was one of those ones where you have a cutout part on the front where you can see a picture through an opening. It looked like just a traditional Christmas picture, but when you opened it up, they were all standing there in Christmas boxers! Even the Mom. It was so funny!
I make over 100 ridiculously complicated Christmas cards every year. The entire package, from envelope to card to family letter usually involves some running joke. Some of the recent ones were: a double tunnel book (“East, West, home is messed”), a reverse waterfall card (Kids grew up and tree got more decorated as the pages flipped. Theme was seeds and growing and changing), a volvelle–a circular changing picture card operated with a tab (“Wishing you greater peace, wishing you fewer pieces”), a double sides pop up card (Santa’s family traded places with ours). I have been doing these for twenty years!
I have what I refer to as our “lumberjack” Christmas photo
posted at the top of my blog! It was a huge hit with eveyone last year!
All my tips are on my blog already! LOL
