I’ve been asked to teach a small class to teenage girls on how to get organized for school. Since, I don’t have a teenager, I’ve been doing some research on the subject.
I thought it would help you out as well. For our first segment this week on Back to School, here’s some info on how to organize a school locker.
You could use this idea and decorate/organize a locker using gift wrap or scrapbook paper for the base of color, and gluing magnets on accessories that you either spray paint or decoupage with Modge Podge.
Post It Note Holder’s (Make your own or buy one from a Mom-prenuer)
You could even take it a step further and make a Note & Post It Holder like this one from Madonna.
The Container Store has several fun magnetic accessories to not only make a locker flashy and fun, but functional as well.

Here’s an article on How to Personalize your Locker. My favorite steps are #3 choose a theme and #6 install your background.
All week I’ll be featuring back to school ideas. How to get kids ready, meet the teacher gifts, traditions, and fun activities. Be sure to Submit your blog posts, old and new!
