Tip Junkie’s Halloween Costume Contest ~ Win a $100!

I am so excited to announce Tip JunkieÂ’s 1st Annual DIY Halloween Costume Contest!   It’s a fun way to be inspired on easy to make Halloween costumes for our kids AND give three fabulous Tip Junkie members a $100 bucks.  {squeal}  For this contest, IÂ’m looking for great tips and how-toÂ’s for DIY Halloween Costumes. 

DIY Halloween Costume Contest

Everyone is invited to enter Tip Junkie’s handmade and semi-handmade Halloween Costume Contest, no blog is required.  {giddy}  Tip Junkie members {that’s YOU!} will vote for the THREE winners who will each receive a $100 Visa Gift Card to spend it however you wish.  {high fives}

How to Enter

The contest rules are simple, to make sure everyone gets to see all the nominees and find great DIY Halloween costume ideas and free patterns ~ simply upload your contest entry into the Tip Junkie Creative Community via your craft room.

1.  From your craft room, click “add project” then follow the prompts to Upload your Photos of your handmade or semi-handmade Halloween costumes.  Use 1 or more images.  Optional, if you have a blog add the URL in the “inspired by” column.  When you’re done, “activate” your project.

2.  Be sure to click the correct category to be entered to win:  {I’m upgrading the system to make this easier for next time.}

• *  Category:  Holiday Crafts
• *  Sub-Category:  Costumes

Entries will be accepted through Friday, October 19th at midnight CST and the winners will be announced Monday, October 24th!

How to Vote:

With the new Tip Junkie Creative Community craft room, voting is easy as 1 click!

*  Simply press the green Tip Junkie Heart button {image above} to cast your vote for the costume as well as “favorite” the Halloween costume to your online craft room.

Yep, it’s a vote for a crafty gal to and a bookmark for you to quickly find later from your phone or online.

Three $100 Prizes:

YOU will vote for your favorite DIY Halloween Costumes and THREE winners will each receive a $100 Visa Gift card.  There will be a winner in each of these categories:

1.  Most “favorites”  via the Tip Junkie Green Heart button.
2.  Easiest to make.
3.  Most creative.

Tip Junkie members will vote for their favorite Halloween costumes via the Tip Junkie Green Heart button. The first winner will be the costume with the most votes or “favorites”.  In an effort not to allow this to turn into a popularity contest of sorts, the winners in the other two categories will be picked by Laurie Turk and the Tip Junkie editors.  {wink}
