I was looking for something different to make myself for Halloween and I’ve always wanted to go to a party and have people wondering, “WOW, who is in that costume???” Well this was the costume that pulled it off. I made this Snowman Costume over a few days, and it was so much fun!

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Form 3 “snowballs” from chicken wire:
Bottom (biggest): Make bottom opening wide enough to walk comfortably and the top opening wide enough for your waist with a little extra room.
Middle (medium sized): Make this ball with an opening at the bottom the same size as the top of the bottom ball. Make the top of this ball to rest on your shoulders. After ball is wired shut, put over your body and figure out where arm holes should go. Cut out arm holes and make sure you push back all sharp wire edges and cover with electrical tape.
Head: Make this ball with the opening big enough to cover the opening of the top of the middle ball.
*Make sure all “snowballs” are proportionate to what a snowman would look like.Step 2
Wire the head snowball to the middle snowball.
Step 3
Take the felt and make a large top hat for your snowman and decorate. I don’t sew, I hot glue, but you can do it however you like. I added a ribbon and a light up snowflake to dress the hat up. Now fill the hat with stuffing and wire it onto the snowman’s head.
