An old radio stand converted into a red kitchen island!

I can be a little slow on the uptake at times and this project was a good example. I had my great great grandpas radio stand sitting in my garage for three years trying to figure out how to use it. I was completely done with the plans of building our kitchen island (something pretty in the front with shelves on the back) when it FINALLY dawned on me that I already had the perfect piece of furniture!
