For my fiancé and I, our very first DIT (do-it-together) project was this save the date sign, which we subsequently carried all around my tiny hometown in North Carolina, taking pictures of ourselves. We wanted to make something generic enough to use as wedding decor, but specific enough to serve as our save the date. With something of a farmer’s market theme to our impending nuptials, we thought this would set just the right tone. It’s easy to make one of your very own! All you need for perfect lettering is acrylic paint, a paintbrush, and a ballpoint pen.
