In the past, shipping pallets were typically seen as trash and were discarded after use. But nowadays they have been increasingly used in interior design as shelves, tables and even cute container gardens! Our previous blog post about repurposing shipping pallets inspired me to try a project of my own. I chose to create an ottoman out of a found shipping pallet. You Will Need...
- A safe pallet
- 4 straight boards
- Drill with Phillips head bit
- 1 ½ inch wood screws
- Staple gun
- Saw
- Sandpaper and Power Sander (optional)
- Sharp knife (to cut foam)
- Scissors (to cut fabric and batting)
- Burlap or scrap fabric
- 2 inch thick foam
- Batting/filler
- Fabric
- 4 legs and four top plates to attach the legs
