You Will Need...
- Boiling Water
- Cup
- 7 Degree or Lower Temperature
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Boil water in a pot. {or microwave in a cup}
Step 2
Fill a cup with the boiling water from the pot. Tip: It’s best to have a cup with a handle.
Step 3
Throw the water! {Don’t let go of the cup. HA!}
Step 4
It works! A cup of boiling hot water thrown into very cold air {our temp was -3 degrees F} that it almost instantly froze while in midair and turned into a stream of snow.
Step 5
The kids had SO much fun throwing boiling water outside today. {snicker} That sounds unsafe… doesn’t it. {eek!} Both Jason and I were right there supervising. {pinky swear} This was such a cool science experiment for us to enjoy as a family. You can tell the boys had such a great time.
