Grandma’s Molasses Crinkles
You Will Need...
- ¾ cup Crisco
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup molasses
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- Additional sugar for rolling the cookies
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Combine all the ingredients (except the additional sugar) and mix well.
Step 2
When ready to bake make out to walnut-size balls and roll in the additional sugar. I used a cookie scoop which may be a bit smaller.
Step 3
Quickly remove from the cookie sheet to a wire rack to cool. Store in an air-tight container or bag.
