I’ve seen so many different types of homemade laundry detergent except how to make your own laundry tablets. I really like the convenience of pre-measured laundry soap and not having to worry that someone will use too much. The best part about this homemade laundry detergent tablets is they are perfect for front loading washers.

You Will Need...
- *1 1/4 C Borax
- *1 1/4 C Washing Soda
- *1 1/4 C Laundry Soap bar (Fels Naptha, Zote, Castile Soap, ect.)
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Pulverize the soap bar into a fine powder, this is important as it will dissolve better in any temperature of water.
Chop up the soap bar and then run it through a food processor.
Step 2
Add washing soda and borax. Run through the food processor as desired. The finer the powder, the easier it will dissolve in washes.
Step 3
Add 1/2-3/4 cup water. The soap should still look pretty dry, the goal is to get it wet enough that it will pack into molds.
Step 4
Pack into an ice cube tray. This particular one holds about one tablespoon per tablet.
