You Will Need...
- 2 squares pieces of hessian fabric (17” x 17”).
- 3 rectangle pieces of hessian fabric (6” x 17”).
- 2 squares pieces of lining fabric (16” x 16”).
- 3 rectangle pieces of lining fabric 4.5” x 16”).
- 1 piece of hessian fabric for pocket (9” x 12”).
- Upholstery’s webbing for handles – cut to size when bag complete.
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Fold the hessian pocket fabric in half and sew along all 3 open ends. Leave a gap at the bottom so you can turn the pocket inside out once stitched.
Step 2
Now start to assemble the bag. Leaving half an inch as a seam allowance attach on of the sides of the bag. When you are half an inch from the end stop and add the next piece of fabric for the next side. Continue until all 3 sides are attached to the square piece.
Step 3
Turn the outer hessian bag out and top stitch along the edge to create extra strength to the bag
