This piece of furniture gave me fits! It was in really bad shape when I purchased it and the Junktion Technical Specialist (JTS, my hubby) made a lot of repairs to it before I could start painting .He glued the legs to the casing and re-inserted the back panel. Then we stripped the veneer off the top two drawers because most of it was missing. We used a heat gun and had to get the veneer really hot before we could remove it.
I changed my mind about paint colors half way through the project and also went through 3 sets of hardware. Because of changing paint colors the dresser has 4 coats of paint on it. The top knobs came form Hobby Lobby and they really modernize the look.
I love this dresser now.
