My word for 2008 is SHINE.
Have you noticed that everywhere you look people are sad, or stressed, or in need? I think for 2008 I would like to try and look beyond me, and find ways to encourage those I come in contact with. To be empathetic, compassionate, loving, helpful, and encouraging. SHINE, let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works and glorify God in Heaven, not exact quote, sorry.
STEADFAST
“Be steadfast and immovable”
This year I want to become as steadfast as possible!
I’m a fan of Charlotte’s Web (the book, not the movie), as are my daughters and granddaughters. My favorite part was when Charlotte wove the word “Radiant” into her web.
That’s my word — RADIANT.
Peace. I need peace in my mind to overcome a crippling disorder.
My word for 2008 is OPTIMISM. I hope that by looking at things with optimism all things will look more possible. So far so good!
