You Will Need...
- Crepe Paper: orange, yellow, white
- Party hat
- yellow tissue paper
- double stick tape
- scissors
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Cut a square of yellow tissue paper around the hat. {this will cover the top}
Step 2
Fold yellow tissue paper into a square and cut a tiny part of the tip. This will make a small hole for your twine. You can use the twine to hang as a banner like I did or use it to open the pinata.
Step 3
Thread twine around a spider ring and thread through the hole. {Spider will be inside the hat, not showing} Fill your party hat with candy if you are using it as a pinata. Tape the yellow tissue paper around the hat.
Step 4
Use your scissors {or fringe scissors} to cut little fringe cuts into the crepe paper. Use the double sided tape to attach. I used 3 rows of each color.
Step 5
Repeat for all the colors and enjoy!
