Mod Podged Trunk Top

This trunk holds all my sewing fabric and is in my craft area, so I wanted to do something fun on top. I cut up all different sizes and lengths of scrapbook paper. Then just went to town! there really was no method of how I placed the paper. I would just find a spot that looked good, put the mod podge on the back and smoothed it down ( I used a brayer to help with the bubbles) Then every so often I would stop and put a layer of mod podge on top. To top it off I sprayed walnut ink on it to give it a worn look.

You Will Need...

  • Scrapbook paper ( the amount depends on what you are covering), a sponge paint brush ( I recommend a larger one if you are covering a bigger area), I used the hard coat mod podge with the purple label, and optional items are the brayer and walnut ink.
