P.S. If you want a tutorial on how to make a Universal Studios count down calendar, it’s over on the Tip Junkie Printables Site.
I haven’t been there in about 13 years! The only ride on the list I remember being there was ET, and it is an AWESOME ride! My husband and I are really hoping we can go down next year and take our kids. I would so love to win!
Oh, you are going to have a great time. I grew up in Southern California, where the original Universal Studios is. When I was a kid, we had season passes. That’s how awesome it was. I’m sure the one in Florida is even cooler and bigger! Have a great time with your family. And take advantage of your vacation! Make a memory!
We just went to Universal for Spring Break. Here’s the best advice I have from our experience: 1. The Meal Deal is the way to go. All you can eat, all day. 2. If you want to go to Olivander’s Wand Shop get in line early. The line for it is longer than most rides. 3. Do a child swap for Harry Potter’s Forbidden Journey, even if your kids are technically tall enough to ride. You will skip a lot of the long line. 4. If you have express passes you can get through both parks, with time to spare, in 2 days. It’s definitely worth it.
Best of Luck with your trip! Just remember to have fun! It is okay to hit just the highlights! Just being there is an experience!
check out Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. The line could get very long so the best way to to it is going on the ride 30 minutes before park closes. Remember this is one of the few rides that does not have speed pass. If you are going during the day and If you want to get on the front row just tell them. Don’t ask! Just say “I would like to go to the front row”. However, getting on the front row before the park closes won’t work 🙁
In addition you can use a different entrance to get into the park. Entrance is located near Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. SO you will be able to skip long lines to the park and get to roller coaster faster.
We have been going to Universal for the last 5 years. check out my blog it has some tips and tricks.
Good luck
