I am a firm believer that we all have specific strengths and abilities and that if we focus on those strengths we can do truly phenomenal things.  It doesn’t matter if those amazing things are on a global scale or are done at home.  What matters is that those skills are developed and used to make a difference in a life, whether it’s one life or 100 or 1,000!
I’ve been blessed throughout my life to be surrounded by women who have made a difference. Â These women have freely shared their talents with me and helped me to see that we all have something within us that sets us apart and that when developed, really allows us to “shine”.
One of my colleagues {{love surrounding myself with positive women!}} has taken her particular set of skills and talents and found a way to help women in the online world learn the skills that they need to take their blogging to the next level through blog conferences {Bloggy Boot Camp} and blogging tutorials on Women Get Social.  She and her partner, Francesca Banducci, believe in tangibles and provide attendees to their conferences and website with ideas that they can take home and implement on their blogs immediately.  Tiffany was a first to found a one-day, inclusive blogging conference that is affordable and travels around the country each year.  She knows that relevant speakers are key, that networking is important and that providing an atmosphere where women can feel comfortable learning while spreading their wings is key and she provides that.  That’s just one of that ways that Tiffany “Shine’s” and one of the reason’s she’s My Nomination for the Yahoo! Shine “Women Who Shine” Contest.
More about Tiffany:
Tiffany is a mom, wife, business owner, and entrepreneur who began blogging in March 2008. Â Just a few months after starting her personal blog, she recognized the need for a blogger-based community and created www.thesitsgirls.com. Â A year later, she took her passion for connecting women online one step further and created Bloggy Boot Camp, one day, inclusive, information-filled conferences for women in social media. Today, 40,000 members strong and growing, SITS, now known as Women Get Social, Â is a cornerstone in the blogging world and her sold-out tour of boot camps have educated thousands of women in over 15 cities and garnered attention from The NY Times, The Huffington Post, Fast Company Yahoo and ABC News. When not on-line sharing her amazing talent, Tiffany keeps busy running a private Los Angeles summer camp with her husband, and shuttling her 11 year old son all the places he needs to be.

About Yahoo! Shine “Women Who Shine”
“Women Who Shine is Yahoo! ShineÂ’s inaugural womenÂ’s recognition program”. One can nominate their peers, mentors, family and any other women in their community who inspire them and others with their extraordinary achievements.  It’s wonderful because we nominate our local heroes, our community leaders, and women we actually know and respect to be awarded for their efforts!  Then, we get to decide who wins!  {{how cool is that?}}
The winner of the contest gets $10,000! Â Not too shabby, right? Â I’d really, really love to see Tiffany win the $10,000 as a recognition for all the good she’s done so if you have a moment I’d absolutely {{squeal in delight}} if you’d take the time to click on over and vote for Tiffany for the Yahoo!
