What a fabulous list of ideas! We started doing gifts in a jar about 6 years ago, and have a fabulous time putting a bunch of them together for family and friends. We’ve done them as teacher gifts and as a gift for neighbors as well. We usually do some type of cookie, but I like some of these pie in a jar recipes you’ve found. I’ll have to look at these with my daughter and see if we can come up with a plan to do some of these for neighbors this year.

Thanks so much for compiling and sharing these!

I didn’t realize how many edible gifts can go in a jar. My favorite is SAND ART COOKIES. A friend from work made them for me once. It looks great and tastes great. No matter what is in the jar. I believe it’s nice to get something thought and heart felt. I can’t wait to check out the jars with the frosting on top. From a quick glance it looks like a cupcake in a jar.
