Protect Baby Knees with Crawling Knee Pads

baby kneesProtect baby knees with these darling crawling knee pads you can make to keep baby knees from being hurt while they are learning to crawl.

Here is an easy tutorial and free pattern on how to make these darling baby crawling knee pads.

Protect Baby Knees

For the padding, I decided to use some old nursing pads.  You can easily substitute this for 2-3 layers of another fabric like knit, bamboo/cotton velour, anything that will give padding. Just cut them in desired circle size and sew the layers together.

These are so darling and I love how they color coordinate with the t-shirt. {{giggle}}  If you’re looking for baby shower theme ideas, head on over to Tip Junkie Parties for several amazing ideas.

Really amazing blog post. It is wonderful thought that baby protract is essential for baby. I decided to use some old nursing pads. Thanks for another info. 🙂

Wow. Is this really necessary? It’s a serious question…

Our beautiful son is about 7 months and just starting to wobble up on his hands and knees. He’s got this half-crawl baby commando move that he’s just figured out, but crawling is coming very soon we think.

I hadn’t though about knee pads! Seems easy to make, so maybe we’ll give it a shot if he knees start to get scuffed up.
