I worked with Ana White and Osborne Wood Products to build this DIY Restoration Hardware-inspired Balustrade Coffee Table. It was easy to build (a great beginner project!) and cost about $200 to make. A far cry from RH’s $1700 price tag! I love how it turned out.
Check out the blog link for a step-by-step tutorial and free plans to build your own.
Step 1Cut and join your boards together with pocket hole screws for the bottom shelf.
Step 2Build the bottom frame.
Step 3Add the turned legs.
Step 4Build the planked table top, just like the bottom shelf.
Step 5Put the top on and attach it with pocket hole screws and wood glue.
Step 6Stain and finish to your liking.
