12 Days with a Nativity:

You can use this 2 different ways:

1. As a gift: Wrap the corresponding nativity piece with it’s poem or story.

2. As an advent with your family: Add one piece to your nativity set a day and read the poem or story together.

I’ve done all the work for you, simply Click here to print out all the poems and attach one to each Nativity character.

12 Days of Christmas (ring and run)

Here is a “ring and run” activity to do with the children. These items are inexpensive easy, and some times silly.
Buy the items listed below, make their tags, and have the kids start dropping them off, one each day of course, to a special friend on December 13. Do this after dark, or leave them on the porch when they aren’t home, and don’t get caught! This is a good way to that giving can be fun.
Each day has a cute poem like this one:
ON THE FIRST DAY OF CHRISTMAS, your true love gave to you…a partridge in a pear tree. Sorry, but we can’t find the partridge, so we are giving you some pears from the tree the partridge flew away from. (attach to a can of pears)

  1. Thanks for the 12 days of Christmas ideas. Our family is starting it tomorrow night for a family whose mother just had brain surgery. They need a little lift this Christmas and we are going to try to keep it a secret. You just saved me a ton of work. Thanks…I love your site!

  2. HI! Love your site and all your grand ideas! I have been trying to access the link to your “grandparent tags” for the 12 Days of Christmas as well as the “12 Days of Christmas” link. Each time I do it takes me to a page that says “you’ve been 404’ed.” How can I view these posts? Thanks! Shawn Trounce

  3. i like your ideas, but i’m confused. why are you starting the 12 days on December 13th? Is that a special thing you do? The Twelve Days of Christmas run from Christmas day through Epiphany. I’m curious.

  4. Hi there, thank you so much for your brilliant ideas! I’m on day 3 of the 12 and on multiple computers, it’s not showing any data when I click on the 12 days (ring and run). Any ideas on why the links aren’t loading the data?
    Thanks very much!
