My younger sister and cousin are obsessed with dying their hair fun funky colors. A how-to for dying the hair w kool-aid made my day. Now there is a way for them to have the look they want without killing their hair!
Great craft ideas-love them. But puhleeeze warn moms that dyeing your hair with Kool Aid lasts FOREVER! My daughter and her friends are regretting their pink, green and purple ponytails 6 WEEKS later. Uggh. Who would have ever thought Kool Aid would not wash out after many many shampoos, sea salt and chlorine?
The irony that pricey salon trips to cover the grays last about 3 weeks is not lost on me. If only Kool AId came in “Natural Golden Brown” flavor!
