I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Faith:
Faith that I can be a better person for myself, my family, my job and the community around me. Faith that I can have a 2nd child in the next year.
Trust: Trust in the Lord and lean not to your own understanding. I need to trust Him that he’ll take care of my kids, supply our everyday needs.
miracle
My word is miracle. After dealing with infertility and recurrent (4) miscarriages for the last 4 years all I want from 2010 is a miracle. Thanks for the opportunity for a chance to win! 🙂 I love me some tipjunkie!!
Such powerful and inspiring words posted here.
Knowledge ( Is my word) is gained by learning, trust by doubt, skill by practice, love by love. Knowledge is such a powerful word, and applies to every aspect of our lives. We are learning every minute of the day even if we think we are not. I have this word and definition mounted on a tag in every room of my home.
