I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Mt word is FAMILY. I want this year to be all about my family. It comes first and is more important than anything.
ACHIEVE! I want to achieve my goal; to be a more patient, content, happy person! 🙂
My word for 2010 is PERSEVERANCE. I have so much going on in my live right now and I’m too too stressed out but I know that I can’t give up and I’ll make it through everything.
My word for 2010 is “Change”. I will embrace the change in myself andthe change I see in my children. Such a simply word, but yet so powerful!
Courage! Come to think of it, that was last year’s word too. It’s a good one 🙂
