I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My word is Cherish-
I plan to take more time to cherish the people around me, life, God, etc.
On a side note I asked my Husband what his word would be, b/c I just love this idea, and his word would be Shazam. Shazam- b/c it’s awesome and when he thinks 2010 that’s the first thing that pops into his head.
Feel Better is my word of the year. I have been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and diabetes last year. I have been feeling poorly and am now working to feel better. After many doctors and tests, I’ve finally got a diagnosis and am now working to feel better!
SMILE Because that’s what I’ve done since I turned 40.
My WOTY is CONTENT.
Content where God has put me.
Content with what God has given me.
Content with what HE is going to do with me.
HERE’S to 2010!
Courage.
