I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My word is STRONGER. I want to be a stronger woman for my kids, my husband, my self, and my God! I strive to be all that I can be which in turn will make me STRONGER.
I really love the idea of having a “theme word” for the year.
I’ve decided on FREEDOM. Freedom from debt, freedom from my bad relationship with food, freedom from clutter, and all the other things in my life that make me feel strangled. It’s time to be FREE!
I learned about the Word of the Year from YOU last year! My word this year is Cheerful and I blogged about it here –> http://theboatwrightfamily.blogspot.com/2009/12/so-lets-try-this-again.html
