I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Fun-Employment. We had a summer of layoffs, but we had a lot of fun also.
A special word to me is covenent. This word reminds me that God will keep his covenent withHis followers.
My word of the year is Blessed.
I have come to realize through experiences that not matter what happens I have my family and my health and that means I am truly blessed!
GRACE-
It’s what I want to exhibit more of.
It’s something without which I would be lost.
It’s something I don’t deserve, but God continually grants me.
It’s my daughter’s middle name.
My word is Motherhood
I’m becoming a mom of 2 in May, and that’s a huge part of who I am and what I always wanted to be.. I’ve got goals and plans to be a more productive, loving, and caring mom this year through serving my little girl and her soon-to-come baby brother, and working on myself as a person as well!
