I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Families are Forever
We just lost our 1 year old nephew a few days ago. His brother died of SIDS 2 years ago. We are so grateful that we can be with our families forever. If I win I would like to give this to the mother of these sweet boys.
DETERMINATION in 2010!
Tenacity: to execute all my goals with persistent determination. Be they goals that are in the creative and tangible sense, or goals of faith, hope and love. To continue unaffected by setbacks and challenges…TENACITY….
Such a great way to stretch my brain this morning, I will carry this with me to work, Thank you for the pleasant challenge!
Compassion
I hadn’t thought about it being my word of the year, but if it was on a necklace I wore every day it would certainly be appropriate. Of course if you read the post I just did last night it would probably make a whole lot more sense. I didn’t even plan to have a word of the year, and now I do!
-hyphen-
Without the hyphens around it.
Here’s my post to have it make sense if you like.
