I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Driven,
I want to be a driven follower of Christ, a driven mother, wife and friend. I want to accomplish many goals this year and the only way to do that is to be driven.
Thanks,
Amy
Mine is STRENGTH. I am a work at home mom of a 2 year old little girl and in March we will welcome baby #2 (a boy). I am going to need lots of strength & confidence to be able to manage both little ones while trying to work as well. (It’s hard enough with just 1) 🙂
Chill!
Thanks, Cindi
My word is LOVE…. I learned how to fall in love with my husband all over again this year!
Peace
I want to be at peace with myself, have peace in my house and in my heart.
