I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My word of the year is “THRIVE”. 2009 seemed to be all above surviving and this year I want to thrive!
I recently read Alli Edwards blog about the Word of the Year and have been thinking about my word but hadn’t picked one. Thanks for the nudge forward! My Word for 2010 is patience.

My word for the year is “Prosperity.” My challenge for the year is to become debt free, save money, find good deals and find a job to help add to my family’s financial well-being.
My word for 2009 is peace. I want peace in my home, for my family, in my relationships, and for myself.
