I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My word for the year is ORGANIZE. We’ve only been in our house 8 months and already I’m feeling overwhelmed with junk. I quit teaching and all the stuff is sitting in our garage, I coupon shop and then haven’t used all the stuff I got for free. It’s time to get organized.
My word for the year is “savor”. I am going to try and savor the moments, sights, sounds and flavors. Join me!:) Lori
Mine word is “Progress.” Well, it is actually make progress, but just the one word will do too! I want to make progress in many different aspects of my life. I wrote about it here: http://bit.ly/5cMTYe
my word is SMILE 😉
My word for this year is content. For years now I’ve been discontent with so many things, and I’m tired and ashamed. This year I want to learn to be content. It will make my husband so happy! 🙂
