I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
Beautiful gifts! Especially the pearl necklace! My grandmother would love that for her birthday!
Discipline – That’s what I’ve been lacking the last few years. It’s easy to get lazy and slowly start slacking. I want discipline in my workouts, my scripture study, my mommy/wife duties and in my words. I know that I can do it.
GRATITUDE! I find that just being aware of the many blessings–even mixed blessings–in my life brings me great peace. This year, I want to be even more purposeful about practicing gratitude. 🙂
forward – after a wretched time this is our family word of the year

FAITH. That’s a good one!
