I first discovered the Word of the Year in 2007 by Michelle, Kristi, and Lisa and was immediately inspired by the idea originated by Alli Edwards:
“A single word can be a powerful thing. It can be the ripple in the pond that changes everything. It can be sharp and biting or rich and soft and slow.”
So for today’s Talk To Me Tuesday I’d like to challenge you to pick a word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2010?
To encourage everyone to pick their word, I’m giving away prizes!! Three lucky winners will have their Word of the Year customized to one of these fabulous necklaces.
1. RHB Designs
3. Frostings
Simply leave your Word of the Year in the comments.
Feel free to leave your post link or video, if you’ve created one.  Contest ends Jan. 11th.
My OLW is Stewardship. I made myself a piece of art yesterday that will remind me each day… It says, “How am I caring for what God has given me? Stewardship” I am looking forward to a year of good things!
Since my husband and I just found out we are expecting…. I will have to say, that the word for 2010 will be happiness!
inspire.
GRACE
May I always live my life full of grace and be grateful for the blessings I have been given. May I always be full of grace in any situation life presents.
I know I am not the first to say it, but I am choosing FAITH as my word of the year. With all of the challenges and trials my family and I have faced these past few years, it is comforting to remember that we are not alone and blessings are often found in the middle of our most difficult moments.
